A form of traditional Japanese poetry, haiku follows a set structure of 5-7-5 syllable lines. Poets from Haikuists use the free verse format, and the recently updated service brings this unique art to corporate events.
Guests are invited to tell the poets anything they want, and a personalized haiku is then created in minutes. The poems are written using mechanical typewriters, and the completed haiku is then given to the guest as a keepsake of the event.

From its beginnings as a free haiku stand in Brooklyn, Haikuists became an event entertainment service in 2012 when Jeff Krasno invited the two founders to write free Haiku at Wanderlust.
